Geo Metro vehicles were a replacement for the subcompact hatchback Chevrolet Sprint and were a re-branded version of the Suzuki Swift model. 2-door and 4-door hatchbacks, 4-door sedan, and 2-door convertible were all available for Geo Metro cars. These cars sported a 1.0-liter, 55 horsepower, 3-cylinder engine. Geo Metro's run in the industry were ended in the year 1997 and was transferred under GM's Chevrolet division. The new Chevrolet Metro version was ended in dismay in 2001.
